How to calculate Volumetric Weight

Understanding volumetric weight

Large lightweight packages are charged at volumetric weight for the space that they take up rather than the amount
that they weigh.

For example: Actual Weight 7kg

Measure length, Width and height in centimetres to each point

Multiply the three dimensions to arrive at the volume in cubic centimetres.

Width (40 cm ) X Length ( 30 cm ) X Depth ( 40 cm )
40cm x 30 cm x 40 cm = 48’000 cc Total volumetric Weight this is the total volumetric weight.

To ship via Road divide by 3000 = 16 kilos Chargeable Weight this is the kilo weight you will be charged.
To ship via Air divide by 6000 = 8 kilos Chargeable Weight this is the kilo weight you will be charged.
